Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesnInstruction and Student LearningnPlan and deliver developmentally appropriate physical education lessons for lower school students.nTeach fundamental movement skills, coordination, balance, fitness concepts, and age-appropriate games.nPromote physical literacy, cooperation, sportsmanship, and respect through structured and unstructured activities.nDifferentiate instruction to meet diverse physical abilities, developmental stages, and learning needs of students.nIntegrate health, wellness, and safety concepts into physical education instruction.nEncourage student engagement, confidence, and enjoyment in physical activity.nAssessment and FeedbacknUse formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor student progress in physical skills and fitness.nProvide constructive, age-appropriate feedback to support student growth and self-awareness.nMaintain accurate records of student participation, skill development, and progress.nCommunicate student progress and expectations with families as appropriate.nLearning Environment and SafetynCreate a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment that supports student well-being and risk-appropriate physical activity.nEnsure proper use, care, and supervision of facilities and equipment.nFollow school policies and best practices related to safety, supervision, and injury prevention.nPromote respect, inclusion, and positive behavior in all physical education settings.nCollaboration and Professional PracticenCollaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and student support staff to support holistic student development.nParticipate actively in grade-level meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives.nSupport school events, athletics days, and community activities as appropriate.nCommunicate effectively and professionally with students, parents, and colleagues.nDemonstrate professionalism in attendance, punctuality, conduct, and communication.nnCertifications and EducationnRequired nTeaching degree in Physical Education (Licenciatura em Ed.
