Pre-requisites:
An engineering degree (Mechanical, Mechatronics, or equivalent);
Fluency in English (written and verbal);
Extensive experience in product development;
Deep knowledge of mechanical design principles, such as: chassis structural systems and joints;
Knowledge in mechanical design validation, such as: FEA, tolerance stack-up and design reviews;
Proficiency in quality tools (Risk analysis, DFMEA, Root Cause Analysis);
Basic CAD software (preferably PTC/CREO);
Knowledge of truck systems and applications is a plus;
Experience with project management or Agile methodologies is a plus;
International and multicultural work experience is beneficial;
Experience within the Automotive industry is a differential.
Activities:
Work as a Product Development Engineer within our CSETA team (Chassis Structure, Equipment & Transport Adaptation);
Develop innovative technical solutions for local and global projects, supporting parts localization, and solving complex quality challenges;
Work closely with highly skilled colleagues across different sites, focusing on next-generation vehicles such as Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and vehicles running on renewable fuels;
Lead and contribute to technical design work that meets business targets, sharing your expertise with team members, and supporting design reviews, risk analysis, root cause investigations, and DFMEA;
Apply your deep understanding of mechanical design principles, FEA analysis, and quality tools;
Optimize product quality, cost, and innovation.
