Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering;
-Strong experience with quality tools (8D, FMEA, Ishikawa, etc.) and statistical data analysis;
-Familiarity with truck systems and automotive applications;
-Fluent in English;
-Spanish is a plus;
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
-Experience with Volvo systems: Jira, Volvo Portal, LVD, VDA+, KOLA, Impact is a plus.
Activities:
-Proactive Quality & Lessons Learned;
-Engage problem-solving using the 8D methodology, with emphasis on steps 7D and 8D (Learn and prevent reoccurrence);
-Ensure lessons learned from reactive issues are captured, documented, and integrated into future project requirements;
-Facilitate workshops and cross-functional reviews to drive preventive actions;
-Cross-Functional Leadership;
-Coordinate investigations and quality improvement actions across GTT, GTO, and brand teams;
-Represent the customer voice in technical forums and quality reviews;
-Support new product development with insights from field performance and past issues;
-Data Analysis & Reporting;
-Use tools like Excel, Power BI, Minitab, and SQL to analyze quality data and identify trends;
-Monitor and report quality KPIs, proposing actions based on predictive insights.
