Requisitos:
-Degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Systems, or similar;
-Experience in electrical architectures and embedded systems from the automotive industry;
-Knowledge of the automotive standards and technologies, especially onboard communication technologies and protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet), as well as the challenges related to functional safety and cyber-security;
-Knowledgeable in function design and application SW in real-time systems, SW platforms (Autosar Platform, Linux, etc.), electronics (ECUs) and electrical components (sensors, actuators, etc.);
-Proficient level of English, both written and spoken;
-Being familiar with the Volvo GTT EE architecture (TEA2+) is a merit.
Atividades:
-Clarifying and negotiating requirements with stakeholders;
-Exploring alternative high-level electrical and electronic solutions during early project phases or to mature new technologies, balancing business needs, design and platform strategies, lead time, cost, and technical constraints;
-Developing competitive and timely system solutions, covering changes needed in application software of different ECUs, component changes, and their installation;
-Identifying and mitigating cybersecurity and functional safety risks, possibly developing specific concepts with domain experts;
-Working in an Agile environment to design and develop electrical and electronic solutions with cross-functional teams globally;
-Providing technical expertise and system knowledge to support development teams.
