Shift: 8am – 6pm CST
We are seeking a foreign-trained attorney to join our team as a Paralegal supporting our U.S. immigration practice. This person will work closely with
our immigration partners, assist with research, filings, and lead an offshore team.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
– Conduct legal research, including case law analysis, for complex U.S. immigration matters.
– Assist with preparing and filing various immigration petitions, including:
– H-1B, TN, L-1 visas
– Employment-based green cards (EB1, EB2, EB3)
– Family-based green cards and marriage-based cases
– Lead and supervise a team in Mexico supporting immigration processes.
– Work collaboratively with attorneys and staff in the U.S. and abroad.
– Assist with legal research and preparation of immigration petitions.
– Ensure timely and accurate filing of immigration documents.
– Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Requirements:
– Licensed attorney in Mexico or another South American country.
– At least 3 years of experience working with U.S. immigration law.
– Strong experience in handling intakes, preparing filings, and legal research.
– Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
– Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
– Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
