Requirements:
Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation and Control, Mechatronic or similar;
Strong experience in testing of electronic controls in automobile industry;
Automotive engineering knowledge;
Very Good Knowledge of software tools in testing (CANalyzer / CANoe etc.);
Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g. CAN, LIN, J1939, UDS, Ethernet);
ECU and electrical network testing skills;
Advanced written and spoken English level;
Automation testing knowledge is a plus;
Experience in system level testing is a plus;
Knowledge of scripting language like CAPL, Python is a plus;
Experience with HMI (Human Machine Interface) testing is a plus.
Activities:
Work at the Vehicle Technology DI&I (Driver Interaction and Infotainment) department in a global product development team;
Verify and validate the accurate and precise working of the Electronic Control Units (especially Instrument Clusters) within the system;
Verify ECU’s and electronic network of a truck as defined in the test strategy;
Verify the implementation of software functions, especially related to Driver Interaction;
Identify test cases as per the test strategy to cover all functionalities;
Perform activities according to the defined test plan;
Execute the test cases on the electronic network/ECU/component and review the test data;
Report non-conformance and raise issues;
Review the test specification to make sure that the requirements are testable;
Work in sync with system engineering and software development teams to better understand requirements for effective testing; participate in project meetings as necessary;
In addition to this, the team members are also encouraged to come up with new methods for improving the verification process and to ensure efficient verification by reducing cycle time and improving productivity.
