Pre-requisites:
Bachelor’s or Master´s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic/Control and Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar;
Embedded systems – solid experience in hardware components (ECU’s, sensors, actuators and wiring harnesses) and SW development and verification (including SW architecture, communication protocols, diagnostics);
Knowledge of CAN protocol and tools (e.g. CANalyzer, CANoe);
Automotive knowledge – Understanding how different systems in a truck/car interacts and work together;
Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, power BI and requirement tools is a plus;
Experience with hardware-in-the-loop and vehicle testing is a plus;
Good knowledge of software programming languages like C, C++, C# and Python is a plus;
Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g. LIN, J1939, J1587, UDS and Ethernet) is a plus.

Lead and develop a group responsible for developing solutions that provides the driver with safe and premium user experience through easy controls and the right information;
Support engineers across sites, foster growth, build capabilities, and recruit new talent;
Set direction, remove obstacles, deliver results on time and budget, and promote continuous improvement;
Take responsibility for systems and components, align work with business goals, and lead roadmap execution;
Work across functions to support projects, improve operations, and strengthen cross-team efficiency;
Report to the Director of Vehicle Technology Curitiba and you will work in close proximity to the Global Technology Manager (closely working with Gothenburg & Bangalore, as well as Greensboro and Lyon sites).
