Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master´s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic/Control and Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent;
Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
Solid Experience in product development within the automotive industry;
Experience of developing complex multi domain systems (thermal / SW development / HW development / simulation / verification / validation);
Experience of working in a global environment with several sites and external partners;
Previous leadership experience with direct reports is a differential;
Experience in the field of Thermal Management engineering (ICE-BEV-Fuel cell drivelines, cab climate) is a plus;
Experience from supplier management is beneficial.
Activities:
Lead a team of engineers working on Thermal Management at Vehicle Technology Curitiba;
Support engineers across sites, foster growth, build capabilities, and recruit new talent;
Set direction, remove obstacles, deliver results on time and budget, and promote continuous improvement;
Take responsibility for systems and components, align work with business goals, and lead roadmap execution;
Work across functions to support projects, improve operations, and strengthen cross-team efficiency;
In this position, you will report to the Director of Vehicle Technology Curitiba and you will work in close proximity to the Global Technology Manager (closely working with Gothenburg & Bangalore, as well as Greensboro and Lyon sites).
